The pigs of Primrose Herd have found their way onto the national stage once again, this time as part of delicious. magazine's search to find the best artisan products made here in the UK.

The Produce Awards celebrate the local food heroes who create Britain's best food (their words, not ours!)

"From the tip of Scotland to the Scilly Isles, it’s this country’s farmers, fishermen, butchers and artisan food producers who supply our markets and fill our cupboards with quality ingredients – and it’s these that inspire us to cook the best food we can."

We were extremely proud to receive the news that not one but four of our products have made it through to the final round. These are Smoked Dry Cured Back Bacon, Cornish Hogs Pudding, Chorizo Style Sausages and Traditional Breed Shoulder of Pork.

As regional finalists we go through to the national final in July, where our pork will be judged by some of the country's leading food experts. Fingers crossed that they agree with our customers, that Primrose Herd is the best pork they have ever tasted!
